Who's with me? I'm sure not many. I don't care about the weight difference. I see a tremendously skilled athlete vs. a tough guy, a bully. He's good at what he does, and that's a credit to him, but I still see Gamboa having a not so tough time with Rios, and then on to bigger and better things. I'm surprised we're seeing the fight, but hey, I'm all for it. Puttin the money on Cuba.

I don't think it will be easy but I do think it will be like Pac/Cotto. As long as the better man can take a rough power shot here and there he's got it on lockdown.

They are both tremendously skilled only they have different styles. Gamboa tremendous boxer/ puncher vs. an elite brawler with also ko power. Thing is tho and I'm going to be completely unbiased Gamboa struggled and got floored by Siri Salido where their really is no shame because Salido proved to be an elite 126lber. Rios tho only time he struggled was recently, but that had to do more with weight drain. Even in a weakened state still proved deadly vs a world class opponent. Way I see it Gamboa is rushing it and skipping divisions to land a superfight with Pacman. I admire his courage he gets all my respect for having the balls for facing a top 135lber, but may not be the wisest choice. Rios to me is a bigger, more aggressive, and bigger puncher than Salido. I think it will be a classic despite whoever wins might be knockdowns from both. If Gamboa can't carry his power I see him having problems and will do well boxing, but Rios is one of the best pressure fighters out there with an iron chin I think he will be much better than Margarito. It will go down as a split decision I think if they both bring out their best.

Chin will be the difference in this fight. Gamboa appears to have a glass jaw while Rios has an Iron chin.

Judges will give the fight to Gamboa, but it could end in TKO. Rios is stronger though and a bad style for Gamboa to face at this time. Gamboa is looking past Rios for a fight with Pac and Gamboa wants to fight Sergio Martinez ASAP!

Gamboa has too much skill for Rios, if his chin can hold up at 135 he should comfortably outbox him

i love gamboa and would love to see him win this fight but i think he is taking on to much to fast.the move up in weight is one thing and a very big thing at that but to move up 10 lbs in one fight is pretty tough for a guy gamboa size.to take a fight with not only a guy who is naturally much bigger than you are and is a top 135 pounder at that says to me that gamboa is supremly confident, maybe to much for his own good.rios will be at least 150 lbs on fight night which is not uncommon for him by the way and gamboa will be struggling just to make 135 will be 135 on fight night, thats a lot to overcome for any fighter.this will be fight of the year for sure but rios wins by ko no doubt.

Its not going to be easy for him, but I definitely see Gamboa winning a UD.

    Should be a great fight

It will be Pac-DLH all over again! Gamboa is too fast for Rios.. Gamboa by late TKO or UD!

It will be like Margarito vs Pacquiao.

Gamboa is too damn fast.Rios has underrated defense. If Rios boxes and plays smart then I would give him more credit for having a high IQ. But if he doesn't change his style which is tailor made for Gamboa btw. Then he will get brutalized death by a thousand lightening lefts and right hands.

I'm sticking with Rios by early stoppage. Any result wouldn't stun me.
