Where was the adjustment in the Corley fight? All I saw was a slugfest from the opening bell. Corley was being aggressive and Floyd stood there in front of him and traded.

Where was the adjustment in the Judah fight? People say Floyd adjusted after the 3rd or 4th round, but what I saw was Judah stop throwing punches. He's well known for being a front runner.

Floyd's ability to 'adjust' is extremely overrated. Most of the time he's just a slow starter. He takes a round or two to settle in. You can name very, very few situations where Floyd had to completely change up his strategy to win. If I'm wrong name me some examples.

depends how you define style. I kind of look at every fighter as having his own style, some are more versatile then others. Floyd def has a versatile style but it's not as versatile as people make it out to be. He still fights the same way 90% of the time. It's not like he can morph into Roberto Duran all of a sudden. He fights how Floyd mayweather fights. yes, he's good on the outside, inside, but he still fights the same way most of the time... pulls the same moves, throws the same shots. If you watch enough tape of him, you know what to expect.. which is generally the case with all fighters.

Ok so you admit his chin is average. His defense is good, but I've seen better. Tony did everything Floyd does, and much better. Hopkins has a better defense. Floyd is overrated in every facet. His resume doesn't stack up to the godlike status you put him in.

Been watching tape of Floyd particularly the DLH fight. Floyd just looks ordinary anytime he's fighting someone with good boxing skills and size/speed. He doesn't know how to put punches together to create openings, can't take a punch, he freaks out under pressure, especially if he gets hit, and goes into a shell. Pac is faster with his hands and feet. He's younger. He's really stylistic hell for Floyd right now. I don't know how anyone can't see this. Floyd's also slowing down now, he's getting older and his agility/athleticism isn't what it once was. That was always his crutch in his fights, but he never fought any fighters who could expose this (except for a prime Castillo who beat him, and an old DLH who made him look one dimensional). Even Ricky HAtton took him 10 rounds and made it competitive for a while. A younger prime Hoya and Mosley would have beaten him rather easily. I guarantee you Pac will completely expose him if they ever meet (which won't happen bc Floyd knows what's in store for him). What more evidence do you need that he's afraid then all of this blood testing nonsense, and going back into retirement after he's made a pile of money. He's got no reason to fight Pac right now.

The main thing is Pac's speed, athleticism which is superior to floyd right now. His footwork will drive Floyd nuts, and Floyd has absolutely no answer for Pac's offense, at all. He doesn't throw enough, do enough, and he simply doesn't know how to take a risk which he's gonna need to do to have any chance against Pac. To put it bluntly, he doesn't have the balls to deal with Pac. He's get destroyed rather easily.

I'll put a lifetime bet on the line if this fight comes along that not only Pac beats him but absolutely dominates him and makes him look silly. Floyd is the most overated boxer in history. Even defensively he's overrated. Hopkins has a better, more dynamic defense. Don't get me started on Whitaker and many others. A guy who can't even string together 3 punches can never be called a great boxer. He's a great potshot artist, but that's a one-dimensional style that'll get exposed against the right opponent.

I remember refuting the "Leonard ducked Pryor" myth (for the 1000th time) by pointing out that Pryor admitted to turning down an offer.

The response was "no he didn't, you just say that because you're a black person who is afraid to leave the house because you're scared to get robbed"

Obviously I exaggerate some of the stuff I say to rile you guys up , but pretty much all the main points are true. Thanks for bringing it up tho :good

This is true versatility. What Floyd does isn't versatility. Floyd sits in the pocket and potshots. Thats it. He doesn't have close to as many arrows in the quiver as *****s think. Let him try and pressure a fresh welter he will get dropped AGIAN. He is not that good of a pressure fighter.

I wanna see a video that breaks down Floyd's style and all his flaws i.e. straight line punchng, no lateral movement, little to no body punching, no combination punching, robotic defense.. If Floyd didnt have these flaws the Castillo fight wouldnt have been close, the Oscar fight wouldnt have been close, Hatton wouldn't have lasted 10 rounds and the list goes on. And its also the reason why Pac will give him all he can handle, and Marquez is actually a better fighter in those categories I just listed.

In Floyd land you cant critcize anything about Floyd. He's a perfect fighter. Why dont we all just agree Floyd is black jesus and lets stroke his balls like bballchamp / chump / slickstar.

People claiming old-time bias is why people don't think Mayweather would've beaten prime Leonard and Hagler (a middleweight for crying out loud).
