Vitali's style is perfect for Tyson's mighty uppercut

Will take some vicious body work to get Vitali in position where it can have maximum effectiveness. Lewis landed something savage on him in the form of an uppercut that wouldve stretched someone like Wlad for a ten count. Scratch that, the fight is stopped before Wlad hits the canvas.

Tyson was too fast and hit too hard when he got to his destination. The VK and WK could not have afforded to move their hands because Tyson would have been slipping and hitting them too hard.

That elbow on the back of the neck thing wouldn't work either. Tyson was too short.

Yes, uppercuts are the most effective when opponents are leaning back. :patsch

Vitali's right would have no power against Tyson, since he'd be throwing down at such a steep angle.

At the same time, Tyson's uppercuts would also be compromised.

I think Tyson would have worked his way inside, and as another poster said, destroyed Vitali's body for 4-8 rounds, before taking him out with a left hook.

    "No brag, mam, just fact."

Hence my reply to that comment. The height difference is extreme in this case, he may not even land it the way its intended even if Vitali is standing straight up, which he wont be. He has to cave his ribs, hunched over and sucking wind. Even then, Vitali has a hell of chin.

Just a Great fantasy match-up IMO.

Tyson fought taller guys throughout his career. It'd be nothing new to him ,in fact it's advantageous to him. His style was built around fight bigger / taller guys.

Right! Vitali being 35lbs heavier would also play right into Tyson's hands as well!:nut:lol::nut

  11. Vitali cant land that slow non jab on Mike. Vitali hits people who stand still with the jab. Vitali is open to uppercuts and doesn't take them well. Lewis and Sanders almost killed him with uppercuts. Tyson had a strong and fast uppercut. Vitali cant fight Mike backing up like he does when he is rushed. Tyson smashes his ribs to pieces.
    Tyson TKO7 Klitschko

  12. Remember when Mike fought the 6'6 260 pound Sammy Scaff?
KO in round one. If Vitali leaned back,Tyson will just smash his ribs.

That was in 80s and everyone knows that 80s was abysmal. Remember when he fought real modern HW 6'6" 270lb McBride?

remember when he was shot to bits and mentally as far away from prepared as he'd ever been, only to still tag mcbride with some great punches?
