Will there ever again be two siblings in the top 10 P4P at the same time?

The Marquez Bothers are the last Brothers I remember being LEGIT top 10 P4P at the same time, Juan Manuel was at #2 while Rafael was at #7(if I remember correctly), I don't think either of the Klitchkos should be ranked top 10 or top 15, they always seem to have a big size advantage over their opponents, it defeats the purpose of the Pound for Pound list, maybe if they were always the smaller fighter like Tyson was, or at least around same size, but that's not the case.

I think the Dirrel Bros............could be.

Tony suffered cancer and is only now able to step up his LOC. Dre, similarly lost almost 2 yrs of his prime faking an injury so he wasn't sued by Showtime.

A time will come, maybe May, maybe next year when Tony fights for the title. Dre' has proven to be the #4,5 guy with his wins over Abraham and his excellent showing in the loss to Froch. I gotta believe he wins that rematch if he's not gunshy.

Thier biggest problem is Ward/Bute. Kesslers getting on in yrs, as is Froch, and the D2 could very well take over the division when Bute chases Ward up to LHW.

all you need is two brothers who are big heavyweights and fight well enough for an overrated division. And this the heavyweight division is bad now, I could see two brothers even being champions again. Now do I think two brothers could be middleweight champions at the same time? Probably not. Much harder to do.

Vitali shouldn't be anywhere near the top 10 as he relies on the size differential to beat opponents. Wlad you have a case for.

 

Totally agree, the fact that the Klitschkos ALWAYS have that size advantage hurts their P4P rank. They shouldn't even be considered because of their size. I think there's plenty of boxers who would beat them both if they were the same size, and isn't that what the whole mythical P4P list thing is trying to compare?

 

I think it's likely at some point that it will happen in the future. Aside from the Marquez', the Ruelas brothers weren't too far off at one point, as well as the Currys and the Canizales brothers.

Going way back, Mike and Tommy Gibbons would have been p4pers within a few years of each other, but probably not at exactly the same time.
