If Floyd fought an elite power puncher like Trinidad, backing up against the ropes in straight lines, he gets beaten up far more than in any fight in his career. He has never fought a puncher on that level. Ever. He may win, he may lose. But he takes a beating to do it.

Yet he didnt dent Floyd. You make the mistake most who dont really understand Floyd Mayweathers style make. Its not the power puncher and strong fighter thats gonna beat Floyd. Its gonna be someone that can outbox him.

Guys like Leonard, Hearns, Benitez, Winky Wright would give Floyd fits. Someone Trinidad wont.
