At 175lbs, The Cincinnati Cobra against the Spinks Jinx, who takes it?

Also, would the outcome change if they fought at Heavyweight?

Charles would decision Spinks in a nailbiter, and he would probably have an easier time of it over the LHW limit. Can't see Charles hurting Spinks, nor would Michael hurt Ezzard, but it would be a strong tactical fight.

    Agreed,

Can't decide on the outcome myself, but I imagine whatever it is, it would be close... Probably one of the best examples of a pure chess match between two ATG technicians..

Correct me if I'm totally off the mark here as in all honesty he's not my area of expertise - but I don't find him particularly impressive - he seems mentally frightened in a lot of fights and he seems a bit fragile around the chops and not overly physically strong either - he looked like the type of fighter who when he wanted to get someone's attention he really had to load up and lash out with all he had and it didn't suit him really and boxing wise it was possible to box with him and back him up certainly a lot of less accomplished light heavies than Charles did it - I think Charles greatness was a LOT more natural and he boxed to his own rhythm a lot more plus I think Charles is naturally a much better puncher - and it wasn't just Tyson who hurt Spinks - quite a few light hitting light heavies got his attention or made him buckle enough to give me the impression that a puncher like Charles could really get him going and I think Charles is a much more rounded fighter plus I don't think Spinks could hurt Charles enough with his general shots to get his respect to make him fight Spinks' fight - I say Charles breaks him down and I think stops him - Spinks would try to be game and it may actually serve him better to slug a little but it's Charles all the way for me - not going to say Spinks was over rated as that would be unfair but just don't really think he's of the level of Ezzard Charles as for me few were

Charles certainly had a much more extensive resume however I think it would have been a terrific fight . Michael was a very gifted fighter at 175 ... You have to favor Ez but who knows .. ?

    Charles wins it.
He has too much experience for Michael Spinks.

I think Spinks stops Charles late at 175. I would favor Charles at a higher wieght, though.
