Margarito is a clean fighter and had broken Cotto when the doctor saved him.

 

tyson was completely overrated, not even a top 25 HW all time

k bros and lewis are possibly the only guys who can beat each other in the history of the sport, based strictly on boxing ability they may be 1-2-3 all time, but including resumes, lewis may be top 5 while the bros are top 15, vitali above wlad

marciano was a great fighter. His resume is weak but he was tough as nails and hit like a truck, and would give anybody in any era a run for their money and beat many of the greats

trinidad was extremely overrated, basically a big puncher with not much else, vargas was also overrated hugely

floyd is top 10 p4p all time

nobody at any weight in the history of boxing stops a prime hopkins. hopkins is a top 5 p4p fighter all time, and the absolute smartest figher when it comes to boxing history/ring smarts/tricks/general boxing wisdom. he also hasn't lost clearly in a fight since roy jones, every loss since then is arguable at best.

 

I thought the same thing, there are 2 ideas I have as to why, either he was and he learned from that and consiously chose to do whatever he could to not feel intimidated against vit hoping it would change his fortunes.

or 2, as he seems he be a street guy and talks about shooting people and acts somewhat gangsterlike, maybe it had something to do with fury's father who I believe was a gangster himself, and maybe chisora respected that. Whereas vitali is the opposite type of guy and he thought he could intimidate him.

 

He was pissed off after Wlad had cancelled on him twice, plus he had a domestic & ended up with a suspended sentence & community service.

Chisora hangs around with some dodgy characters but he's smart enough to know not to **** around with Fury & his entourage. If they have a rematch I bet Chisora wouldnt try to kiss or slap him in the build up.

I'd take a Prime Hopkins over Marciano by CLEAR UD any day of the week.

 

Vito Antuofermo deserved a win in Hagler bout.

 

Marquez lost all three fights vs Pac you dont get points for not getting ****ed up bad.

 

pac's rise to the "top" has all been smoke and mirrors aka weight drain game and non-disclosed contract stipulations

mayweather takes the edwin moses approach to boxing (so did rjj and bhop)

lewis ducked ruiz and byrd...so did the klits.

 

JCC was grossly-overrated.

 

Mike Tyson was a steroid monster like most amazing athletes in the late 1980's
