Chisora is listed as 6'1 1/2 or 6'2 and VK as 6'7, meaning about 5 inches difference. And yes, that is what I saw:

I think he's an easy 6'3.... 6'2? No way. He towered over most listed at 6'2 and below. Easily taller than most listed at 6'3. (Ali, Norton and Lyle).

Angelo Dundee said Ali was 6"2 and he saw him measured. I heard Foreman was 6"3 in real measurement but you got to remember most heights are exaggerated. The tall are made taller and the short are made shorter. I think Holyfield and Norton were about 6"2 and Holmes was close to 6'2.5, I met most of them and I would say this is accurate

They say Tyson is 5"10 and I had a friend who was 5"9 and he said he and Tyson were about the same size....Joe Frazier may have been 5'11 but in person his head and neck and shoulders were scary...Jersey Joe Walcott was another freakish guy, head, shoulders and arms...scary.....Tyson was another that looked like " I got to shoot this guy to win"

Holmes looked tall but narrow shoulders, long arms big but not scary, Ali was big, shoulders, hands but none was as impressive as Joe Frazier and Jersey Joe Walcott...Oh an older Jack Dempsey looked like he was chiseled from a steel beam...rough looking dude

Thing with Ali was that he was always slouched... Kind of hunched over at his shoulders, standing straight up, I think he was 6` 3``

I'd say bout 6'4"... he looked taller than Ali and Norton (both usually listed as 6'3") , he didn't look much shorter than Cooney (who is usually listed as 6'6") I think many heights and reaches that are listed are B.S. Sonny Liston was about 6' and we are supposed to believe that his reach was 84" (7')!!!

I've seen Holyfield at 6'2 1/2" with a 77 1/2" reach. He looked much taller than Tyson (how many HWs didn't) but he really didn't look much shorter than Buster Douglas (who was listed as 6'4").

Who knows? Maybe we shouldn't get so hung up on height and reach? Tua is 5'10"... maybe shorter, definately not taller and his reach is pretty damn short as well.

Boxer's heights are so exaggerated it's hard to tell. Bernard Hopkins is listed 6'1 now with 27" waist, was 5'10 in his early career with 32" waist.

He was always listed as 6'3", from Olympics, to Frazier and Ali bouts, until comeback, when he started being listed as 6'4" Maybe his feet got so fat he gained an inch.

    I believe he's 6'4".

Pierre Coetzer is 6'4", and Foreman looked just as tall when they fought. George claims he grew an inch from his prime...I don't know, George told a lot of quaint stories during his comeback, but maybe it's true.

Holy at cruiser was listed as 6'1" then suddenly for his first fight at heavy he's suddenly 6'2 1/2"??? Hahaha come on??

I friend of mine who is bang on 6ft met Tuson in Vegas and said he was quite a but smaller - from a photo of them side by side it looked as he said that Tyson by comparison was probably about 5'8"/5'9" - he said he wasn't much taller than me if at all and I'm 5'8"

Foreman I'd guess is maybe a shade over 6'3"

I'd guess Liston would probably be the most imposing physically to look at for me - as per Bummy - Walcotts shoulders looked as wide as a barn door

And when I met Muhammad Ali in 1992 he was massive - enormous - and his hands (and wrists!) we're freakish!! When I shook his hand his hand seemed to completely envelope my little mitt and half my forearm aswell!! Scary

Yeah, I noticed that. maybe the 6'1 was an old measurement from his amateur days or more likely they just wanted him to appear taller in the stats. i really dont think Foreman is much taller though. maybe Foreman is only 6'2. Tyson 5'10 or less. Who knows?

something to consider, your height can differ as much as an inch from morning to evening due to compression. People are taller in the morning. So, a fighter might be 6'3 if measure at 8am, and 6'2 if measured at 8pm.
