Fight against a southpaw is always hard....I used to spar with a southpaw who fought some amateur tournaments here, he was the only southpaw in the gym in my former town....always was a tough day......my right hand never landed.....although I remember to use my left hook quite well sometimes...much better than when I was sparring with orthodox guys.....

Never participated in any tournaments though, maybe this year.......I will start muay thai this week, but there is a good boxing gym near to me as well........I really need to go back to the gym, too much inactivity last year.....barely any physical exercise.....my problem is that I´m too lazy sometimes.....I was playing football another day and just realized how terrible my stamina has become.....awful.....embarrassing stuff.....

Guy was worse than a normal southpaw, he controlled the range so well, I normlly dont bother with southpaws but I learned the hard way with them, the amount of southpaws I used to have nightmares about....

He was older. In his late 70's I think. Agreed, he was one of the better posters. Ted Spoon, and Marciano_Frazier seldom post here. Both were great. You could disagree with them, and never once did they resort to name calling.
