Rios' trainer thinks he'll win? Well, that's me convinced!

Garcia should concentrate on getting his fighters in fighting shape instaed of mouthing off.Vastly over rated as a trainer.

and big deal if robert is saying rios will ko him. talk is cheap and means nothing. i know garcia is training him but hes not the one doing the fighting so he shouldnt really talk too much.

    No it' not...Not at all.

Pacweather has "did not live up to its expectations" written all over it.

I am sure Robert Garcia thought the same thing when he fought another Cuban Gold medalist in Joel Casamayor. Well, Garcia ended up being TKO'd in the eighth round by a one sided beating at the hands of the Cuban. This tells me how much he really knows his boxing, just as he miserably failed against the Cuban style against Casamayor now his pupil Rios will also miserably fail against another but much better Cuban in Gamboa.

Some people just never learn! :scaredas:

I had more respect for Garcia but now this statement has done it for me!

    :tired

For pure action, and excitement, of course i would rather watch Rios-Gamboa.

Pacweather is very interesting in the sense of how the styles will mesh together, and its always fascinating to see the top 2 in the sport go at it, but as for the fight itself..i am quite certain that it wont be as exciting as the former. And the hype is going to be HUGE for it, and i find it very hard to beleive that it will live up to it.

could u imagine pac vs may in the ring. the feeling before the fight starts. nothing could amount to that. and i know ur saying yeah and then the fight will suck. well u could be right but i doubt it.

rios vs gamboa samething i know its going to be good. but its not on the level of pac vs may.

I feel the whole intensity of seeing them in the ring together will be far better than the fight itself, if you kow what i mean. And i dont think the fight will suck, but i really dont think it'll be a FOTY candidate type fight.

Gamboa by Wide UD, possibly late TKO.

Too much speed and skill for Rios who is kinda like Margo Jr. He's tough, but it wont be enough to handle someone like Gamboa.
