The only thing I always had against bute was that he was a hometown fighter, now that he is traveling to england to fight Froch in Nottingham he deserves credit and it will be an important step in creating the ward vs Bute superfight, assuming Bute pulls it off.

    He certainly is not.
He has very loyal fans and he owed them this. They put a lot in and deserve a fight that will answer questions.
Like I said elsewhere,it's not like he's going to break out journalists held hostage in Iran.
Or going to fight in Germany.

He's not a G... He's way above that mark :bart

If Broner is called a "G", Bute's at last a "GGG" like Golovkin, or a "Super G" like Proksa :deal

G's include Dereck Chisora, Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez. Lucian Bute is certainly not in their company.

And that's that. You were probably one saying "he'll never give Andrade a rematch" but don't worry I won't waste time looking it up.

Bute already won the event AND he's going to win the fight. Any by definition, that's G.

34 year old Froch coming off a loss is Bute's biggest challenge to date. That says a lot.

No problem with the fight though and i think Bute can pull it off. Didn't expect him to fight in England but he has a chance to shine and maybe Froch deserves a home fight more than Bute does!
