Yep, even with Froch coming off a loss and arguably having lost against three men in the super six tournament, this is a huge step up for Lucian Bute. It's a good, fan friendly fight.. I don't think anyone has a hard time condoning it. I'll be watching. :smoke
Yea, of course, now that he fights Bute he is not good anymore, but a few months ago when he fought ward he was the best, ward broke him.
wow is that what you think, i disagree froch is not a bum i think froch has still got it in him but is the easier opponent out of the top guys that bute could of fought. Direll is a real test for bute and so is ward.

oh did ward decline to fight bute and say he wants bute to fight one of the top guys an make himself more proven probably a good idea to help build the fight and ward said he wanted to look at his options and maybe take a easy fight back in his hometown while letting bute has time to build up and direll too. Ward is injured and unable to fight, and he's expressed his interest in fighting Lucian Bute (on the same token said Lucian can fight and prove his worth, thus making the fight bigger in doing so.). But let it be clear, Ward never ducked or dodged anyone.
Now see Bute wanted to fight ward, but you come here saying "he could of fight someone better like ward" when you obviously know he wanted the fight but ward didn't (right now). So then when you know the fight can't be made why do you still put ward in the equation, troll? And again, Dirrell?
I would agree that Froch is probably the best match for Bute's style. Nothing easy. Anyone knows if it's a 2-fight deal like most title fights?

Let's Ward make some money on the side. I can understand the man. Boxing careers are short. He's now out of the S6 and needs to put some $ on the side. Bute's future is probably well secured now. He can now try to clean the division and fight for less dollars. The good thing for him is: just keep winning and a lot more money will come. Many good fight to come... one at the time.
