What's happened to Juan Carlos Gomez..?

    Boxrec have got him pencilled in to fight a TBA on the 4th. I dont know that he can do anything anymore. He is a former crusierweight weighing in at 240lbs who is now 38 years old.

    He lost to Darnell Wilson last time out aswell, albeit an injured arm being the cause. BUT DARNELL WILSON? I want him to retire before he starts getting beat up.

    He's on the sinking ship that is Universum Box Promotions. They aren't going to get him any kind of decent fight when they have other more promising HW's on the books. He's just filler for undercards now, and I wouldn't expect him to beat any top names anymore anyway.

    If Gomez was fit and motived, he could still beat some top names. But is Gomez motivated anymore? I think he needs to check into Jenny Craig.

    He could still beat some good fighters and get back in the top 10 if he were to get his mind right and get back into good shape. Will this happen though? I tend to doubt it, but we'll see..
