Boxing would be a MUCH better sport if fighters had Curtis attitude. Willing to fight anyone, anywhere and even for free just to get the chances he's always dreamed of. Deserves the utmost respect. Curtis, Ive barely seen you fight, but your attitude is fantastic! Top man! Very refreshing when you see all the posturing over money in the upper eschelons of the game.
Yeah gotta love that he was doing well in football and seems to be in boxing just because he enjoys it not just for the money.
And he comes from Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire, which is where I passed my driving test :thumbsup
I think he was born in Beverley but he is a Driffield lad through and through and I think he would be slightly annoyed at the fact you associate Beverley with his name :good
Driffield and Beverley is like Derby and Nottingham or Newcastle and Sunderland but on a slightly smaller scale. I think Curtis' nickname is the Driffield Destroyer!!!!
Yeh I agree with you its a bit run down in places. It's a good job that I live a few miles from Driffield in a nice village
Curtis is a inspiration i've been thinking of going back to boxing recently and i look at his success as a pro and how he's worked hard to get to where he is. He's also had to work 10% more harder then others due to him being a footballer he's had to prove himself even more.
And me, well in leconfield. Also, got to visit the lovely city that is Hull. Agreed about Woodhouse as well, great attitude.
