    What are we distorting.

The interview is the interview. Floyd said when asked about fighting pac. I'm not going to be pushed into the fights the fans want me to take. I have to think about my health.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Its his health at the end of the day.

But it is what it is. No distortion.

Both Floyd and Pacquiao are dull knives in the drawer.

in short, floyd is choosing the less riskier fight to preserve himself. typical in floyd's whole career.

I know that, despite being offered 55% if he wins. Over 75million in his pocket. And he gives the world the fight they want and puts boxing in the mainstream.

    And he refuses.

I will never be a fan of a boxer with this attitude.

I'm guessing pac fans only read the quotes and didn't watch the 20 min interview

So you are not a fan of any boxer period. Its all about business. Every damn fight is about business. You also realize that **** would have not even gone through even if he would have agreed right?

we have some coming now. and they are defending hard floyd's BS offer of a guarantee with no PPV upside for pacman when pacquiao has outsold floyd last year and has more PPV buys through-out his career.

If you watched the interview he basically said that he didn't want 100% of the revenue, but that he worked to hard in the sport for the 50-50 split, then alluded to Manny's money woes, and said when I'm retired I won't have to be asking Bob Arum for checks to get by, then he told the story of Ali putting on spectacles, cause he didn't maximize off his big fights, and was to fight by fans to put on sideshows and he couldn't say no cause he was broke, but Pac fans twist **** round here always

i tend to lose interest when it becomes more about money than legacy and getting to the top. You get figtters jut turning up for a paycheck.
And getting sold mismatch after mismatch and getting convinced these are legitimate fights.

A young floyd was awesome to watch. I prefer my up and comers like Broner and Rios at the minute. They may turn into modern day floyds and Mannys, but at the minute they are hungry to get to the top .

LOL. no it will be Goldenboy bailing his ass out of income tax charges, just like in the past.

At the end of the day, he's going to take a smaller purse to fight an opponent that is perceived as lower risk. He obviously sees Pacquiao as enough of a threat that he feels the need to bring up his health and his future. PERIOD. There is no reason to bring that **** up unless you have concerns about it.
