He is not referring to Pacquiao. He's talking in general.

Why would Floyd fear Pacquiao when he saw him lose to Marquez a fighter he dominated?

What kind of logic in this? If someone is inferior to me and has no shot. Give me $100 and I'll put a beating on that guy. Its like saying, Oh I don't want to win the Lottery because its only 10 Million when you have a 99% chance of winning.

Because even if it were true, it would insinuate that he is demanding that Pac fight him without Arum. Unless Floyd was gonna pay Arum as well which I highly doubt

so what did he do?

let me guess, he took the wise business decision to fight a less riskier opponent that would agree to his business platform?

Floyd offered Manny 15 million dollars more Guaranteed dollars than the $50 million they were projected to split ($25 million each) when negotiations began, yet Floyd "priced himself out of the fight". Arum was going to pay them $25 million each, Floyd said **** that took the reigns and offered Manny $40 million but he's the one pricing out...Cool ****ing story breh...

Not smarter than if He destroys Pacquiao, becomes the true superstar ATG, makes all the money in future bouts (maybe even endorsements) brings Boxing back to life. He would be at the pinnacle of this career if he disposes of thelittle midget whos lost 5 times.

Bob Costas is a great interview ,Mayweather made every excuse in the book he acts like he's really entitled ,but he needs to stop ! Self preservation are you kidding ? Are Floyd's kids gonna starve ? Its utter nonsene the reasons he gave Being pushed into a fight ? Greater legends took on real challenges for lesser money and for the glory of the sport ..I use to to side with him but outside of Arum being the obstacle he should make the fight for the fans !

I also like how Bob brought up how Ali took on Fraizer even though Fraizer was the lesser draw ..No one is pushing Floyd to fight past his best ..!Man Floyd talks like a modern day republican !

From a popularity standpoint. The fight is a 50/50 fight.

From a skills and talent standpoint, Floyd deserves the bigger piece.

    Its that simple.

I am not glad about any decision. I understand it though so do you.

What does Floyd not fighting a guy who just got beat by Marquez have to do with his fighting.

Floyd is an all time great. Floyd and Manny not being able to come to terms doesn't change Floyds status as an ATG. You know he is.

Name one fighter in the history of boxing who took less then the majority when they were clearly the superior fighter or the bigger draw.

Remember Pacquiao vs Hatton? Most figured this was a 50/50 fight, but Pac was slightly favored. Pacquiao nearly pulled out when he didnt get a bigger proportion of the split.
