He made a decision that he thought was best for him. Just like Manny made a decision that he thought was best for him by turning down 40 mil instead to make 20 mil to fight Bradley.

Who says Cotto at 154 is less risky than Manny at 147? Manny just LOST to Marquez a guy Floyd dominated

No they aren't and this is blatant bull**** that you have literally made up to try and "sell" a point that isn't valid. If the fight makes between 150-200 million HALF (50-52%) goes to the networks and PPV distributors right off top. So by your figures, 200 million becomes 100 million, of that $100 million you still have to pay expenses, the other fighters on the card (Canelo/SSM/etc), he also has to pay all representation (GBP, TR, Hayman, etc), so what's left after that? By what calculations do you arrive at this being a 40/110 million split? By all means show me the figures you are using to base your entire framed opinion on, surely you have put more though into it than this, seeing as how your entire philosophy on boxing is hinged on it. Please show me how you figure...

if you are bringing arum, what can you say about his offer of $45M under the same terms that floyd offered, is it more generous than floyd's offer?

so which do you think is the more fair offer? pac's 50/50 split or floyd's guarantee for pac w/out PPV upside?

Ali took on Frazier because Frazier held the Heavyweight title. Took him on a second time because he lost the 1st one. Then took him on a 3rd time because Ali believed Frazier was finished as a fighter. :patsch

Why didnt Leonard rematch Hearns during Hearns prime? Why didnt Leonard give Duran a 3rd fight in his prime? Why did Leonard wait till Hagler look bad before he fought.

Costas dont know **** about Baxin. :patsch

Surely this is all that matters. I;d argue that from a "who's achieved more in the Sport" Manny deserves a bigger piece.

    I have a crazy idea.

    50/50 split

Theres no need to name any, youre missing the point. This is possibly the biggest fight in history where whos making more is not an issue because it is by far the biggest payday for both. And the winner would make even more.

And add to the fact that its an easy fight for Floyd. It doesnt add up no matter which way you slice it esp to the casual fans who support the sport.

are you even seriously trying to defend the $40M offer from floyd when pac is guaranteed $25M for the bradley fight and that was without the PPV upside and other revenues?

and pac-floyd would earn several times than pac-bradley so to compare $40M flat that pac would earn from pac-floyd to a $25M guranteed plus PPV and other revenue earnings is laughable.

of course you are a ***** who loves floyd too much so you can't fathom this one. you even admitted that you would rather keep floyd safe and sound unless he won't get more.

Funny.. Just a months ago. Step up punk now that the "punk" stepped up the other guy quotes former champs saying health issues, hell he should've retired then if he is worried about his health.
One thing is for sure, Only against Pac is he this worried. I wonder why?

Doesn't get any simpler than that folks.

    There is none/
Did Holyfield get 50/50 vs Tyson? Did Floyd get 50/50 vs Oscar?

Either way, i wouldn't be happy with a flay offer for this fight with no PPV upside.

*****s get a life. Its a 50/50 fight. I'm happy if you want to arfue that its 55/45. But Manny offered that anyway as floy is so obviously going to win.

Everyone was fine with this split until Floyd decided he wasn't a couple of weeks ago. Now wehave most of his fans that are slightly pissed at him. Then a few hardcore nut jobs who are fighting floyds corner about how he deserves more.

It's as obvious a 50/50 split as you can get.

One got his ass beat by a lightweight. One has never got his ass beat. 3 losses, 2 draws, including 2 gifts vs 0 losses.

Not a hard concept to understand.

hey look at the *****s on this thread suddenly saying that 50/50 is not fair and the $40M w/out PPV upside from floyd is too generous for pacquiao to reject.

they should come up with new ways to defend floyd on this one. it must be hard to be a ***** these days.

you do understand that they have to sell a certain amount of PPV for manny to get any back end right? If Bradley fight does Clotty numbers Manny just gets his up front
