when you get a girlfriend you won't put fighters on a pedestal because you "like them" and talk like that.

no offense, champ, but it's a disease to be a serial online poster and worship people who are achieving more than you are.

let go of that **** and you won't post like that again

Wasn't Pac the bigger draw in 2011?

I want to see the fight even if he never got a dime. But looking at it from PBf's perspective, he has a point, he feels he's the bigger draw and so he deserves the bigger split. Just like Oscar took the bigger purse against people when he was on top PBF feels the same way now.

but that's still fair against a 40mil guarantee with no ppv split. wtf is that?

Nobody was on Oscar's level at the time. Manny sells just as much as Floyd. You have no argument.

If I'm just making **** up then why aren't these type of deals common place in boxing today???.:hi: They aren't for a reason but your line of thinking is too simplistic to realize this. It's not that simple as winner takes more it's much deeper than that.:deal Too many things can happen in a fight even when one guy is comfortably controlling a fight. Like I said robberies being the biggest with things like fouls, cuts and injuries as well.

    pac-jmm3 (1.41M PPV buys)
    floyd-ortiz (1.25M PPV buys)

i don't know why pac is ok with 50/50 when it should be he who is demanding the bigger share. but of course 50/50 was agreed upon from the very beginning so it's just fair that pac offered this to floyd.

I think before, Floyd agreed to the 50-50 split but asked for OSDT, but the way has changed the other way around this time.

Why not negotiate for payment plains in those possible cases instead of just walking away?

And if Pacquiao outsold him fighting Mosley (who everyone knew was shot) compared to when Floyd was fighting a young and new rising star in Ortiz (apparently his personal 2nd highest PPV ever) in 2011, how could he possibly expect to gain ALL PPV revenue?

so they should just half the purse then and fight to make it simple right? just like what ali and frazier did when they fought the first time? no bullshits.

There is really no comparison ..Who didn't Oscar fight ? I don't think the same could be said about Floyd ..

I can't say that I agree with Floyd but if this were anyone other than Manny nobody would have a problem with it. $40 million guaranteed is a hell of a lot of money! In fact, it's more than Manny has ever made in his life for any one fight. Yes Manny has a following. Yes he would bring a lot of viewers to the table, but so does Floyd. Floyd holds the records. People pay to watch him fight more than any other fighter in boxing. So when he makes a lucrative offer, and wants to make more money, as deluded and selfish as it might be I can see the logic. I don't agree with it. I think Manny should get a small percentage of the PPV revenue, but I can understand Floyd's reasoning.

That said he sounds like a ***** in that interview and he has lost a lot of my support.
