I have said while the numbers dont add up I dont blame Manny for trying to get 50/50 even though he said he would take less very recently. Just like I dont blame Mayweather for wanting to give Manny at flat 40 mil. It is what it is. If the business doesn't make sense to both they just wont fight. Life goes on

That's the purse bid. There is also PPV %. Two different thing. If Floyd offered 50/40 for purse and 50/50 on PPV it be different. You guys are idiots for just looking at the purse bid and the 0% he'll get from the PPV.

Floyd wanting 100% of the PPV is called NOT WANTING THE FIGHT TO HAPPEN.

Not at all he wants the fight on his terms. How much did he give Marquez? How much did he give Ortiz? How much is Cotto going to make?

Then look at how much Manny actually gets on the back end from Bob. Bob give a big guarantee upfront and Manny gets very little on the back end. Thats even from Bob's numbers if you want to believe that. Manny just lost to Marquez for christ sakes. Floyd wants the fight if it makes business sense to him and is team same with Manny. These guys are not afraid of each other they are also not dying to fight each other.

The reason people are dying to fight someone is because it makes financial sense that it.

    you don't understand negotiations..

it still would have been a 45-55 with 0 percent of the ppv based on Floyd's "contract"

whatever the hell that means. which means he just been out 100 percenting his way out of the fight for the past 3 years..

so it doesn't make any financial sense for floyd to accept a 50/50 split just like when he accepted in back in 2009. :patsch

I do understand negotiations. Sometime one party has the power and is not going to budge. Walmart does it to business every damn day. And no I dont work at walmart

I am not even sure he did. Even with that times change. Just like Manny said he would take a lesser pusre just a few months ago. To Floyd is doesnt makes sense to do a 50/50 split with Arum so he is not going to do the deal that is life. **** Manny just lost.

would you say from and outside perspective Floyd has made some pretty damn good business decisions in boxing once he decided to pay Arum to get out of his contract?
