    OK, so I have this is my Bob Costas thread, but you have to watch it.. it's a classic. Marlon Starling Versus Tomas Molinares. After seeing Starling dominate the fight, Molinares lands a late punch that KTFOs Starling. When Marlon comes to, he doesn't remember being knocked out!

    Exchange between Merchant and Starling:

    Marlon : "They counted me out? Was I out?"
    Merchant : "They did count you out."
    Marlon : "WHEN!?! He didn't hit me!!" (Looks at Merchant bewildered)
    Merchant : "Marlon, he did hit you, and if you don't remember it, that's proof that he hit you.:
    Marlon : ".. and they stopped the fight?!"
    Merchant ".. and they stopped the fight because they ruled that you were knocked out."
    Marlon : "Do I look knocked out? Do I look knocked out right now?"
    Merchant : "Well you only have to be knocked out for ten seconds"

    :lol::lol: Did you watch the vid? ****ing hilarious. I mean, I feel bad laughing at Starling because he obviously had a nasty concussion to forget everything, but goddam that is a funny interview.

    Strangely, while the fight was later ruled a no-contest, apparently Molinares was allowed to keep the title.

    Starling was starting to take over that fight, landing more shots while using his shell defense to block Molinares's shots. Hilarious interview (I do feel a bit bad for laughing at it), Starling wasn't being a sore loser, he just had no recollection of the punch.

    I thoroughly enjoyed his schooling of Honeyghan a little while later.

    I remember that fight well. I remember being shocked because Molinares looked like he couldnt break an egg. Molinares was champ for a few hours, then the looked at the tape and called it a no contest. Anyway he goes back to his native Colombia, fights bums in next two fights, gets koed in both and retires. He was truly king for a day.
