Who wants spaghetti??!! Leyva is hanging tough, pinning his arms together in front of his face and bouncing around, popping his southpaw 1-2 to the body. BIG HOOKS AND UPPERCUTS BY PAREDES! Leyva is pushed against the ropes. Wide right hook by Leyva, countered hard!! Big left hook by Paredes!! Left jabs by Paredes, placed deliberately to set up his power. Leyva pushes in to clinch. A minute left. Paredes finds range with his jab as Leyva floats around the perimeter. Paredes holds off. STIFF jab to the face, snaps Leyva's head back hard. Hook/uppercut combo by Paredes, very quick!! Accidental headbutt as Leyva leans in. He took the brunt of it and paws his brow. Ref warns them both. Paredes is taking his foot off the gas pedal. Leyva will survive the round, circling.

Round 4

Leyva lobs a high left hand over the top, and gets countered. Wide right hooks to the body get him countered too. Leyva gives up on leading and circles out to his left. Paredes marches up and lands mean uppers to the hip. Leyva clinches until told to let go. Leyva plops his left hand lead against Paredes' tight guard. Leyva circles right and feints with a few low right jabs. Paredes hops back out of the way. Leyva keeps dipping down with that right arm. Paredes is giving that right jab to the body way too much respect - maybe he thinks Manny is gunning for his gonads? BIG WIDE left haymaker by Leyva from across the ring, misses by a country mile. HARD STRAIGHT RIGHT TO THE BELLY BY PAREDES! Now one to the chin!! Leyva circles as if his life depended on it. Paredes runs up and gets him ducking with a stiff but pulled jab, then rips him with a hard right uppercut to the body!! Leyva pushes out his right jabs in double, and then gets drilled with a straight right counter to the face when he tries and telegraphs a left cross. Leyva hops around in a wide circle and lobs wide shots at nothing.

Paredes stalks and lands his left jabs at will. Leyva circles away from him and into the ropes. Right hand straight to the face. Leyva is running out of room. Paredes is just picking him apart very close to the ropes. Big uppercut, and Leyva is down!!!!!!! Long knee taken!! He beats the count. Another uppercut! Leyva sits until "ocho!". Up!!!!!!! Uppercut from Paredes!!!! Big flurry!! Leyva leans forward into him and throws a counter left!!
