Carl Froch is a limited plodder who is hillariously overrated based on the fact that he has "fought the best"

    Lets look a little closer

Green, Weight Drained Pascal by close decision

Old, Shot, Blown up Taylor by last minute lucky KO after losing every minute of every round

Humilliated by green Dirrell, outboxed and needed a robbery to get a split decision

Soundly beaten by aging, limited Kessler

Admittedly decent win over blown up, midget Abraham

Squeaked by old journeyman plodder Johnson in a far closer fight than many care to remember

    Schooled and Humiliated by Ward

Mark my words, Bute will DEMOLISH hype-job Froch

Considering I saw more than one guy asking for thickets information's minutes after the fight was announced on twitter, I'd say yes they are exited. Imho it's by far the most exciting fight they could have made at 168 right now.

They are exited because they highly underrate Bute and overrate a bit Froch. Because two bombers of 168 will clash.

I had trashed Froch a bit in the past, but I always admitted that he was to many times "lucky" to be considerate only luck. He won fights that on paper should have lost so probably there's more it him that meets the eye. Still think the brits are overrate him a bit. Remember Ward said he was surprised of how slow Froch is, speed kills and Bute has plenty.

If Carl Froch is a hype job for fighting and beating some of the best Super Middleweights in Boxing what exactly is Lucian Bute. You're finding every excuse to degrade Froch's competition when the best fighter Bute has faced has 15 losses and is 40 years old.

It's easy to sit back and call fights "mismatches" on paper, but the truth of the matter is this, bouts aren't won on paper. Bute is in for a tough fight and Froch isn't a 40 year old Glen Johnson who's never won a meaningful fight his entire career.

This fight is going to do one of two things, either Bute is going to look amazing and all the people like ME WHO AREN'T CONVINCED will become believers or he' get exposed as a farce.

we all know froch's resume but what about bute?......

Lucian bute is 32 he's never fought a world champion or a former champion at 168

his last 5 fight's have been against guy that got knocked out before he fought them

sakio bika is Lucian best win

Librado Andrade and Gennady Golovkin knocked out bute cold he didn't even know where he was:shock::shock:

why is Lucian bute coming over to england?....because he was forced to the man has been extradited over here he had know where else to hide

Why we are excited about this fight. Because finally we can see if Bute can live to the hype, Because its one of the best fights that can be made in smw. Because normally boxing are getting bashed for not letting top fighters face each others 2 of the 4 best smw are clashing. Eventhough I would love to see Kessler - Froch II and Ward vs. Bute I still think that Bute should prove himself first vs. either Kessler or Froch before facing Ward.

He had Canada, Romania, USA not that was hidden but, just to see how stupid you are. He would have also made more money fighting bums in all those countries than what he makes fighting Froch in England.
Andrade Knocked-Down Bute, and Golovkin was back in the amateurs(also got back up). Froch has been KD more recently, by a shot MW.
Bute is 32 and fought Berrio a reigning world champion, Froch has once fought a reigning World Champion (Ward), look how that turned out. Bute has also fought Johnson who was IBF LHW world champion and Dingaan Thobela who was WBC SMW World Champion.

And to end it all resume's don't fight for them otherwise Kessler would have beaten Ward.

yeah bute got back up but how long did it take him?... more than 10 sec wasn't it, when he did get back up was he able to continue?...absolutely not

    Dingaan Thobela:huh.....who

Alejandro Berrio ....a reigning world champion what a pace of nonsense that belt was joe calzaghe's how can you call the guy a reigning world champion and he lost the vacant title in the first defence:huh:huh

Berrio got ko 4 time before bute got to him

    carl froch fought

    Glen Johnson
    Arthur Abraham
    Mikkel Kessler
    Jermain Taylor
Robin Reid all former world champions

Lucian bute not even the best in canada carl froch beat the best fighter in canada Jean Pascal who what on to be wbc champion an numder 1 at LHW

Is Lucian Bute on the level of a mikkel kessler or andre ward?....absolutely not

34 soon to be 35 yr old carl froch will be the best bute has ever fought

Lucian bute is a bottom feeder feeding on everybody else's leftovers and bums

They say he can punch but everybody he's KO have been K.O before he fought them:patsch:think

The possibility of Bute losing, as it is, by far, his toughest challenge yet.

Are we talking about Skills and potential or resume here?

Resume-wise Bute is not on the same level as Kessler of Ward but also not that far away either, at least from Ward, Kessler has fought longer and he got older champs and ex-camps on his resume but You can't rate fighters only by their resume Because guys like Kessler should never be ranked below #1 even if he lost to Ward. Doesn't make sense to rate fighters only by their resume.

Skillwise Bute is above Kessler who I still believe his not the sharp fighter once was, his game has degraded a notch, he's still good tho, good enough to beat Froch not good enough to cause Ward more problem. And I think Bute is at a lvl that is good enough to cause Ward at least "some problems". So that puts him above Kessler. I can't really tell if there is any difference in skills lvl between Bute and Ward could be small to one or anther or could be a little bigger towards Ward, who knows. I hope I'll get the answer to that question soon enough.
