That's a serious injury he's rehabbing from. And he's into his 30s now.

And there are lots of tough guys at WW.

When he comes back, is he still going to be GSP?

How much success do you see him having in the next phase of his career? Do you see him picking up where he left off?

    Discuss.

Yes, it's a serious injury. Yes, there are some tough guys at WW. Yes, he's had a lot of time off.

But to be honest, I still don't think there's anyone at WW that is a legitimate threat. GSP might be 'in his 30s', but he's only just hit 30, and his style of fighting is one that doesn't leave his body in pieces after each fight (like the Shogun's, Nog's and Wanderlei's of the world). He could conceivably get another 5 good years out of his career before he even begins to show any signs of serious wear, in fact this is the first time I can remember him taking any amount of time off for injury (correct me if I'm wrong).

He'll probably come back, jab Condit to death then wrestle **** Diaz to a UD. There may be more pressure on him as he gets older to move up to 185, even after Anderson retires.

To boot GSP is a healthy guy that's always in shape. Guys like him usually age later.

GSP is too good for almost 99.9% of men who fight at 170 lbs.

I doubt this injury would deter his performance,.
