Could mayweather take the hatton punch PAC landed

Dude, stop saying things like that. This fight would never get made if more and more people perpetuates this notion to Miss Mayweather. In fact from now on I officially agree with all *****s---Pac is a one-dimensional amateurish midget that would totally get schooled by Twitter Queen.

 

Floyd pretty much settled all "chin" questions when he didnt go down from that over hand right to the temple from Mosley.

If Mayweather was stupid enough to position his self to take such a punch in full force like Hatton did then he will at least be knocked down and hard if not out.

People tend to mention "what if fighter x took the punch fighter b took" while completely ignoring positioning. I don't care how great of a chin Mayweather has, if he positioned his self like Hatton did to take that punch he's either going down or out.

 

How many times Floyd been down because of a punch? Hatton didnt even roll his damn chin

The Hatton punch was against a shot fighter with his chin in the air and with his hands low.

This is almost a free punch and no Floyd would take this shot , but nor would any other fighter up to around 160 other than Oscar.

Who the **** knows. Doubtful Floyd would ever get hit with that shot, he's way to cautious to get that ****ed up out of position.

 

an unexpected punch would put ANY fighter on ***** street, even the ones with great chin.

On a scenario like this, Mayweather could have been knocked out. any fighter who expects to be hit like that in the process would either be wobbled or just rolled with the punch. I think Ive seen Pac landed the same shot with cotto in the 8th or ninth with cotto against the ropes.

 

He never gets hit in that way, so even if Pac threw the same punch, and Floyd took it he WOULD NOT take it clean.

For arguments sake if he did 1 of 2 things wold happen.....

He would react in same way he did to Shanes punch

or

He would go down, be very very hurt and could get TKO`d....... but i feel he would survive to the end of the round as he knows exactly what to do when hurt.

I cant see him getting straight KO`d though, as its not happened before and he has taken a few big shots in his career.

 

I believe that he can take it, he got hit flush my Shane Mosley who is a much harder puncher than Pac ( Pac UD Margo / Mosley KO Margo ) although he will be hurt by it

But seriously, if this punch DID land flush on Floyd, like it did on Hatton, it would knock him out, like Hatton and about 97% of other people receiving it.

Its just common sense, the force from a professional boxer's punch in a flush, hard shot, which you dont see coming, will knock you out, I dont care who you are, it will knock you out.

 

I dont think most people who are replying here have actually been punched properly, let alone knocked out.

 

Oscar was more shot and took more clean punches.
