Not in resume, but in h2h ability he is in my opinion. I think that is what Floyd ment. Prime Roy Jones and Whitaker are close though.

Roy Jones Jr is the greatest H2H IMO. There are about 10 guys you would favor over Floyd throughout history from 130-147. Roy Jones there are maybe 2-3 guys you would even give a chance from 160-175. Spinks might be favored at 175. Foster would be about 50/50 and thats about it.

yeah, you got it right for defensive fighters . . . PBF has a better offense though. He is the best of this era (since Pernell) followed closely by Pac.

I would not favor 10 guys over Floyd through out history espesialy at around 130 pounds. Would you favor anyone to beat Floyd at 130? I think Floyd would destroy a fighter like Benny Leonard.

Floyd is the GOAT at 130. But over the 4 main weight classes he's competed in, I'd favor around 10 guys to beat him. Whitaker, Hearns, Benitez, Leonard, Chavez, Griffith, Napoles, Duran, Wright, Gavilan, Robinson, all have a 50% or greater chance of beating Mayweather.

All these guys were bigger, stronger, and just as fast, and the technical gap, even with the worst of the lot technically which was probably Chavez is not that far off.

I agree with everything, but I still think Whitaker the best defensively of alltime. He beat Chavez when both close to their better days, beat a dangerous southpaw who just finished schooling Winky Wright, lost a close match that coulda gone either ways vss a prime Oscar and then took on a prime Tito, 2 younger, bigger, stronger opponents than him. Floyd is great, but not until he beats Pac and Sergio he might surpass Sweet Pea.
