Manly's ball movement looked so much crispier than it was in the WCC.

Shaun Johnson is an amazing talent. He does incredible things and you can see defences totally confused when he attacks the line. He is a genuine superstar!!!

I really feel for James Tedesco... the kid had a huge season ahead of him and now he sits on the sideline for 12 months whilst the boys are out there...

I say put Joel Reddy at fullback and keep Moltzen in the halves

Beau Ryan is by far the most improved player in the team... the skills he showed yesterday were those of an Origin or International winger.

 

That was bad. Must of been 8 or 9 cramped up at the same time.

 

Oh Gonz. Surely not. Beau Ryan is a muppet. He is an average player that comes up trumps with the help of his inside man most of the time.

Shaun fensom - dont know much about him but he had a blinder against the storm. Running in to holes and hitting hard all day. Is he a gun??

Ben roberts- was looking forward to seing him Start the season at 5/8 with a new club. Problem...he never touched the ball!! I know he went off injured but prior to that, he was excluded from every attacking play. Is that how kearney is going to play him??

Joel Reddy at fullback? keep Humble there. No need to rush Reddy into the squad just because he is a new signing, he isnt even that good.

No thats what happens when Sandow gets the ball first. Not much of a shared half. Look at him and Sutton at Souths, Sutton had to literally push in front to get a hand in the plays.

I'm hoping he gets a bit more settled but his attack plays were lacklustre, probably more Kearney's fault than Sandows though.

Ben Roberts will make a great addition to the Eels if he can team up succesfully with Matt Keating, Sandow and Hayne.

 

Reddy got a fair bit of hype from scoring a heap of tries in 2009 and 2010. He was playing on the inside of Luke Burt who is one of the Eels best players and one of the comps best wingers. Burt carried him through and now you will see him play with mediocre wingers at the Tigers to be disliked for not playing to his potential.
