Don't feel too disheartened Pecks, they had a bloody good game despite some dodgy calls... I think if they keep that sort of consistency you guys will do ok.





Unless Sam Burgess gets injured then you are ****ed.

 

Awful finish to the game, but aside from that, there were encouraging signs.

Our forwards dominated, and we played a smarter game than we have in previous years. Lacked a bit of flair, but add Merritt, and Luke to the team, and there'll be more points.

We missed Luke at hooker. The meters he makes up the middle has been our spearhead in attack for years, and we needed it tonight.

I'm not too disheartened. **** happens in league, more so when you play the scum.

Was funny seeing Sandow in the crowd before the game.

I think now that you have gotten rid of Sandow who would have brainsnaps and invested in Reynolds and Sutton who tonight showed some awesome pairing and control. Sutton better keep his consistency though which he never has in 9 years.

For the Roosters, Mitchell Pearce and Daniel Mortimer will do well in the halves... And that Anthony Mitchell... He's a bloody good Hooker. ****ing Eels let him go as well... Surprising that the Eels have let about 5 or 6 excellent Hookers in the past 10 seasons. Much better than that ****wit Jake Friend.

Still early days and a shitty weekend for stylised playing considering weather...

 

Petes did alright considering, the play of the ball was so slow tonight, I don't know whether he would have been able to make that many metres.

As long as they play Braith at Lock. Mortimer and Pearce in the halves, and Anthony Mitchell and Hooker. They'll do alright.
