Was it "shameful" and "disgraceful" when Ali held opponenets?

"Wlad needs to fight big names to get respect"

They all decline. Only option is Mormeck.

"Wlad needs to get rid of Mormeck in 1-4 rounds to get respect"

Mormeck down in 2nd, KO'd in the 4th.

    "Well....Wlad held too much"

You know who else held opponents? Muhammad, "The Greatest" Ali. But that's cool, he's from the "golden era" so lets just ignore that and keep the hate train rolling.

No, it wasn't. It was his style.

Classic Klitschko fans. Making ****ing ridiculous comparisons to defend their hero from valid criticism.

Who gives a **** what Ali or anyone else did. It's a boxing forum, Wlad was in a boxing match on Saturday night, he held a lot. People are going to talk about it. Stop being such a *****. If you're a world champ your performances are under scrutiny and people will analyse your performance. Unless you're the human manifestation of Wladimir Klitschkos feelings, don't need to start a thread crying about it every time people criticise or comment on him.

    ****ing Klittards, pfffft

Simple question. Would you rather watch an Ali highlight reel or a Wlad highlight reel? Case closed.

There was no ESB at that time, so this thread is invalid (as per ESB standard)

When Ali fought George Foreman and Joe Frazier? No.

When Wald fought Mormeck and Byrd? Yes.

I watched the Joe Frazier fight (2nd) and he held him all the time. The ref's fault in my opinion, his responsibility to do something about it. The 3rd fight was a different story and he only won because the ref stopped the fight.

Interesting info - did you know Joe Frazier could not see out of his left eye for 10 years while he fought? So Ali fought him 3 times when Joe Frazier only had vision in one eye. I believe Joe Frazier is the "greatest."

How about Lewis holding on Tyson's corpse?
