I also liked the pre-Steward Wlad more although his jabs and 1-2 are superb now.
While I understand that a small guy mostly sees his chance by running into Wlad's belly I don't understand why he cannot find another way to avoid this rather than permanent clinching his opponents. He needs to risk more, and destroy his opponents! Come on Wlad!

I'm not saying it isn't illegal, I just find it funny that you are posting in this thread, criticising a guy for being dirty when you are a fan of a dirty fighter yourself :D

Wlad has his style and as you can see it works for him and he keeps winning, weather you like him or not he has one of the largest followings in boxing even haters and he needs those to keep the pot stirring that is why he is making millions.

I agree. i never said i hate him. In fact, i respect him and i like him as a person.

his style and lack of inside fighting and his new style, i dislike.

and now, i do not think he is hyped as he should be hyped. he is over hyped in mediocare era.

    that's it.

Pre steward Wlad was more pleasing to watch.

not saying he is not more affective for him now, but, it is ****ing BORING

I am a wlad fan, I have no problem with your opinion though, and I have felt the same in past fights, his jab and grab used to really bother me, especially against peter in their first fight. But...its odd that after this fight you'd suddenly stop being a fan. He was probably as aggressive as he's been in recent years, threw a ton of left hooks, and tried a few uppercuts as well, ya he leaned but mormeck was not standing straight up he was coming in in a way it was very hard to do much before he closed the distance. I would have thought if you were a fan and didn't like his style you'd have stopped being a fan years ago. He's 35, I don't understand what you mean he didn't turn into what you thought he was, I would think you'd have come to that conclusion when he was 31 or 32. Not attacking you, just saying it seems odd.

Because i was a fan of him since his olympic days. 1996.

i've been following him for so long, i didn't want to give up on him.

he has so much potential. great guy, does great work outside the ring, he is a good role model.

i want him to be more.. as i was a HUGE fan, you expect MORE. that's all.
    :good
