In the light of the interest for the Johnson ,v Tunney matchup, how does Jeffries do against Tunney ? Same rules apply.
I dunno, Jeffries has seemed to be dropped down from where he once was, this guy was great,, some said he was the finest HW of them all ( up to WW1 at least ),,,, pure speculation but yes,, he may need 30 rounds to catch him, totally disregard the Jeffries v Johnson fight which was a circus,. I got a feeling that Jeff was very athletic,.
Jeffries was indeed more athletic than he gets credit for, but if old Corbett can keep him at bay for 10 and prime Corbett can stay out of the way for 22, I think that Tunney, more mobile, straighter punches, about as quick and possibly quicker should be able to bank 8 rounds on the move. **** does happen though, I just wouldn't favour Jeffries here.
