The Tarver 2 KO loss should be held against Roy and his legacy, he wasn't peak, but he certainly wasn't a shot fighter.

Honestly.. prime Roy really was unstoppable... no one truly showed an answer for him.... yeah he was KO'd by Tarver in the rematch but weight and age have all been speculated as possible indicators for the loss so I really can't say he couldn't beat the best opposition at LHW.. because based off what we saw from him at MW and SMW.. it's obvious he had superior skills to most fighters ever mentioned....

so too should the johnson and calzaghe losses.

all that happened is that roy jones stopping taking banned steroids and started fighting clean.

roys run of 3 opponents before calzaghe were hamshaw-ajamu-trinidad - all comfortable wins for jones - all 3 opponents of a similar standard to the wins that roy had since failing the drugs test.

after calzaghe - 2 straight wins against sheika and lacy in impressive fashion - both fighters of a similar level to everybody roy had managed to beat as a clean fighter.

I for one thinks Jones looks invinicble against cans, and contenders, even some elites but he does struggle more when the competition goes up. However there is also no doubt in my mind that he would've beat Joe in their primes. The best of Jones > Joe. When he fought job he was stationary and gun shy. In his prime he was fearless and great foot movement.

roys boxing skills were **** poor. all jones had was phenomial athleticism from his juicing. when that got took away from roy and he started fighting on a level playing field, roys lack of skills and poor punch resistance were badly exposed.

many fighters in history could have been superman if they are taking banned anabolic steroids.

Since you know so much about anabolic steroids which anabolic steroid was he on?

Oh yeah, he wasn't on an anabolic steroid, he was on a steroid. People who has asthma inhalers are on steroids but those aren't anabolic steroids so they don't help with performance unless.

Let's discuss the banned substance he was on and find out just how anabolic it is.

Also a shot blown up Joe Calzaghe really did take Roy to school. Joe had no power, and still destroyed Roy, in a boxing contest.

Wow. Ever heard of age coupled with weight fluctuation. Jones was past shot in this fight. It awes me how some people find ways to overlook obvious facts.

If you think you can become as quick and explosive as a prime RJJ just by "juicing", why don't you try it and get back to us?

    You're a ****ing idiot. :yep

He wasn't shot in the Tarver 2 fight, that much you have to agree with.

Because Tarver is a B- level fighter at best.

Yes it should and Tarver should get major credit for landing a perfect shot.

That's the punch that shot Roy. He came back against Glen Johnson and was totally gunshy.
