    i went for lunch-while still waiting for Gamboa- and missed this part.
    April stands at least 5.10', just easily beat Acosta by UD( dropped him once).Hope at least he gets noticed and get some fights on TV.But i doubt they will give him Brando.

    Well, whoever he works for, may not have been getting him the fight he wanted so he took matters in his own hands. But I'll be honest, I never heard of Abril before today. Huge Gamboa fan, but I don't recall the last time someone didn't show up to their own presser.

    What the **** are you on about?:huh Rios is still fighting Gamboa, he didnt switch opponents to Abril.

    And who is Abril? He's the WBA interim titlist, hes beaten Miguel Acosta and has lost a close decisions to Bredis Prescott and Hank Lundy before.
