What I have said is Floyd had the opportunity to make those fights. For whatever reason, they never happened. Along with many big fights floyd could have taken, instead of taking easier opponents like baldomir, Corley, Bruselles, N'Dou, Mitchell, JMM. Are you aware of how many of Floyd's peers he did not fight? Compare his list to that of DLH. Win or lose, DLh fought about EVERYONE. Where's Freitas? Casamayor? Tszyu? Johnson? Margarito, Williams? Like I said, at least DLH fought all his top contenders throughout his career. After Castillo, Floyd STOPPED doing that. He fought TWO eliminators to get to gatti FFS.

And if Cotto never tried to fight him earlier, what did floyd do to fight his peers? Make a ****in call out? This ain't pro wrasslin son. Call outs mean nothing. Did he actively TRY to get those fight made? No, he fought convenient reasons NOT TO.

Where is the source??? If he did in fact say "I never spoke to Arum about or pushed for a fight with Mayweather at anytime." that could be interpreted in a million different ways. I dont understand why all these *****s are jizzing on each other over this. Truth is Floyd retired when the division was hot as hell. Had Miguel made it past Margarito the first time then he would have become the undisputed best at 147, Floyd would have been in vacation anyway but we all know how that played out.
