First of all, I'm always available to face everyone. My feeling is that if the fight didn't happen before, then it wasn't right for my case [at the time]. It is available now and will happen this year on Saturday, May 5, so I am going to be prepared.

Was the Mayweather fight one that you pushed for through the years at any point behind the scenes with Bob Arum?

I never pushed for it at any time before. I would just see what is the best fight that I can get fight by fight. This one is the best one for me now. This is the best chapter in my career so far.

That is the Lance company line. I'm not surprised at all. I exchanged posts with him a while back and I was a little taken back on how much more he claimed he would have valued a Mayweather win over Vivian Harris compared to Gatti (who was Ring #1 at 140 lbs behind only lineal champ Kostya, but shhhhhh! don't let anyone know that, best kept secret yet). I wasn't sure if/how/to what degree of seriousness, but now it makes perfect sense. Based on that, I can tell you aren't lying.

A year and a half I've been on the site, I just want this guy to go away!!!!

I've called him out several times with respectful and detailed questions or statements somewhat recently. He always continues to post on the threads, but this was the first time that he responded to me, and it was only because another poster quoted me and called Lance out directly again, knowing that he was clearly reading and electing not to deal with a post that didn't sound like it was written by a primary school goer.

You are right, cotto never tried to get a fight with Mayweather. there's never been anything to suggest that he did.

I'm just saying looking back to that period. I f he fought Wiliams Cotto and Margo, instead of Judah, Baldomir aand Brussells. It would look alot better resume wise.
