**** the PPV numbers, **** the Purse ammounts and record breaking excuses. Boxing will always be BOXING...a violent combat sport. Dont claim to be the best unless you are willing to fight the best. These ***** ass excuses are coming from someone who is willing to burn money in a club yet acts as if he is going to go broke overnight by fighting the "other" best. This bull**** is killing the sport and anyone supporting this **** is just as guilty.

Also, don't forget that even though according to you Pacquiao did his best work at lower weights, A LOT of people on THIS SITE were calling Pacquiao the worst #1 pound for pound fighter in recent memory, After Mayweather retired and before Pacquiao beat ODLH.

wtf....we've done this debate numerous times already.

pac-dlh was considered a mismatch, a **** fight, a circus fight...pac was going to die with the jab alone. nobody is going to buy a fight like that.

floyd-oscar was considered an even/50-50 fight.

Mayweather was ~ 2 to 1 fav against ODLH

ODLH was ~ 2 to 1 fav against Pacquiao.

this seems to be the odds but causal fans line of thinking was somewhere between floyd-oscar as an even fight while pac-oscar is a mismatch where pac own's people (congress) wanting to file a petition to stop matches like this one.

casual fans buy most of the PPV.

it didn't became 2-1 against pac until the last day and even lampley mentioned that most expert had their odds wider than 2-1.

did you think pac had a chance??

I strongly favored De La Hoya, but, I also strongly favored Floyd when he fought DLH.
