I agree. No way Arum does a deal like that unless his ass had both fighters in his stable. Pac fans will eat it up though which is what they want.

 

If the pay structure were actually like this for more fights, more fighters will have that greater incentive to lay it all in the line. There would be more urgency to win and to not let it go to the judges....hence more risk-taking, and hence more exciting fights. And even if a fight comes to a draw or a NC (which are rare to begin with), it's not like you couldn't set an alternative pay structure as a backup. In regards to a Pac/May fight....the backup could be a simple 50/50.

It just shows alot of confidence and machismo in Pac's part to suggest this kind of split. It not only shows he's willing to fight Mayweather, but also that he's confident in beating his ass. Of course, inversely, it cannot be said about a certain painting-stealing, body-guard bullying, babbymomma-beating diva....

You still didn't answer the question. So if there is a head butt and Floyd won 3 out of the first 4 rounds and the fight got stopped and Floyd was declared the winner then you wouldn't have a problem with him winning 70% that way?
