When I say they'd have a backup plan, that was the answer. Every good contract has contingency plans for potential different scenarios no matter how unlikely. You can pull out every "what if..." scenarios outta yor ass, you'd be an idiot to think the lawyers writing it up won't have something to address it. You bring up a relevant one, if I wrote up the contract and the fight is stopped after 4 rounds...it should automatically be a NC imo, 50/50 split, with an automatic rematch clause.
Honestly this fight wouldve happened along time ago if Pacquaio wasn't promoted by Bob Arum, you know this and I do. Pac not sacred of anyone, neither is Mayweather. But Mayweather is a egotistical *******, just like Bob Arum is. Pac is quite innocent in all of this, because he is just a simple guy from simple beginnings. I just called him quacquaio because I can do that. :deal
I do agree that the 50/50 offer is fair and SHOULD be agreed on by Mayweather who is clearly being delusional about it. But this TOP RANK offer is nothing but another bait from Arum to keep this fight from ever happening.
You guys are ****ing ******ed if you think either man could get robbed. They're the 2 biggest figures in the ****ing sport. atsch
If he does not take this, then even I will admit he scared. I think he wanted more money being he is the bigger draw, but if he turns down this, that says a lot.
Anything can happen when this sort of money is involved. remember lewis v holyfield. 70-30 split is a very good offer and if floyd is about the money why would he reject this if he is confident he will win
PAC is basically calling Floyd's bluff in terms of his confidence in winning the fight. If Floyd is really confident he'd beat PAC easily then 70% is very appealing.... It will be interesting to see how Floyd responds...if at all. I just don't see why 50/50 isn't an option for Floyd.
