Im 15 Future undisputed Heavyweight champion the world.

Call me crazy I watch alot of Boxing for hours I think Joe louis could have beat either klitschko brother.

I think Louis would beat them like the other tall men he fought.

I also thinks he wins by Ko.

Just watching old film and both klitschko brothers.

Joe just seems like a better overall fighter than both of them.

I can see him beating Wlad but not Vitali.

Did everyone miss this part in their rush to admit an a former champion from decades back could hypothetically beat the current ones?

Joe would be out of his depth against either brother. Little chance against either Wlad nor Vitali. Nor any other modern day heavyweight.

These are unfair mythical matchups really. Boxers from the classic eras should be matched with their peers, not with modern day fighters.

  7. Joe Louis at sub 200 pounds beat Primo Carnera and Buddy Baer by stoppage! He would KO Wlad and would be a threat against Vitali.
People always say "the athletes of today are bigger and stronger"
no that is not true because Babe Ruth hit home runs just as well as A Rod and A Rod needed steroids. Louis would KO Klitschko

Do you have any clue how terribly bad a fighter Carnera was? Guy became a boxer at the age of 21 or so. He was working in a traveling circus as a strong-man attraction. When fighting in Paris, his first trainer noted quickly how terribly bad Carnera's chin was: "Primo would be reeling when tapped lightly on the chin by a man 100 lbs lighter than him".

So, you're saying Louis beating a glass-chinned circus act who started boxing in his early 20s is a strong indication he'll beat the **** out of Wlad or Vitali? :deal

:patsch...definately beating Buddy Baer and Carnera by Ko, warants that Louis would also beat both Klits by Ko.

, really?...but somehow you can't see the large disparity in skill, speed, and size btw. each eras?

    Take a guy like Galento

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNEostaLb-I[/ame]

what is that at 5:43? and 5:46 on... that's a defense? even the shittiest boxer would have enough common sense to keep his ****ing hands up once they're rocked...that's one of the 1st things they teach in when you pick up boxing.
    this guy strikingly resembles Butterbean.
They both have strikingly similar styles and both like to throw wild right overhand hayemakers
...and to think of it, that bum decked Louis

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwZitkTWhRg[/ame]

    And that's a 50year old Holmes

Galento wouldn't even last as much as Mormeck against Wlad.

Look, Louis is one of the greatest HWs ever to grace this sport, but to compare him with modern Heavies like Klits, Lennox, Bowe who are much bigger, faster, stronger and athletic, highlights the ignorance.

I mean, you can't be that ****ing ******ed!?...there are vids out there, it is obvious to the bare and untrained eye, that Louis is much much slower, smaller and more hittable.

What do you think is going to happen when the concrete feet Louis just sits there, making small steps in front of Wlad?..he's going to get his face smashed repeatedly by jabs, and then the occasional right sledgehammer.

Do you think that somehow a 6.ft2 76inch 200lbs man is going to beat to the punch a guy who's much faster, has a bigger reach and is much stronger then him?

Hey, welcome to the form and goodluck in your future endeavors. Lots to learn around here, just don't get caught up in some of the stuff (you'll learn quick).

What tall heavyweights Louis beat cause you to think he'd do well against the Klitschko's? I have Louis number 1 on my top heavyweights, so not hating on you. In my opinion, Louis fought no tall fighter anywhere remotely close in talent to the Klitschko's.

On All-time lists, Louis wins...head to head, no, in my opinion.

Joe Louis in context is either 1a or 1b on hw goat

but if you stuck him in a time machine against wlad it would look like an absolute mismatch

You do realize that baseball fields were significantly smaller back then, right?
