odd one especially with Kessler fighting Stieglitz in a few weeks

 

Stieglitz ain't all that, he's fairly average but I do think it's a little too soon for George. If he won he'd be another Cleverly with a world title but not mixing in world class opposition.

 

How can you enter purse bids when both fighters can't be sure they'll win their next fights?

 

So if Kessler beats Stieglitz then Groves is the mandatory for Kessler? Far too soon for the Kessler fight in my opinion. Groves himself has acknowledged he's not ready for that level yet, and I don't think he benefits much in the long-term by taking a fight with Kessler now.

That's a good point. I'm guessing that if Kessler beats Stieglitz then Groves is the mandatory for Kessler, but what if Anderson beats Groves?

For some perverse reason...I want to see this fight. Another reason to root for Kenny to beat George.

I'm a fan of both Anderson and Groves but the latter has time on his side, whereas it's now or never for Kenny. I expect Groves to beat him but I'm rooting for Anderson. Maybe Frank would then work his magic and get George made mandatory for DeGales' EBU title? :hey

 

Got to be, just looked at the latest rankings and Kessler is ranked no.1. Thought Kessler/Stieglitz was a done deal anyway so what's all this about? :huh
