*****s pretending like they don't know what's going on . It's his health preservation that's holding up the fight.

It's basically the gentleman vs. thug boy routine. One guy is going to use sportsmanlike conduct as his support while the other guy will claim to be making attempts to hype up a fight.

Rios has room to talk but I think he should be a little more patient. When Murray had complications that slowed down the process of his fight with Rios there was no ridicule from the flamboyant Mexican. He gave Murray the benefit of the doubt. Rios also doesn't see Mayweather as a guy who is ducking Pac. Brandon believes Floyd is making the right business decisions. That said, how does Rios know Gamboa isn't going through tough battles on the business end of things?

Not sure why Rios continues to be hostile. He should be moving on and directing his energy towards fighters who will challenge him outside and inside the ring - someone like Broner.

Please God. Give us this fight. I would love to see it just to watch Broners face after the beating he takes.

Maybe because it's part of the Mental Warfare before the fight. Gamboa has a good chance to beat him if he can box Rios and avoid a brawl. If Rios can get under Gamboa's skin and **** him off enough, he might be able to lure Gamboa into his type of fight in the ring.

Besides that, it was Gamboa's Camp that called out Rios, and for Rios to fly out to Miami and Gamboa not to show up is disrespectful. To top it off there were Gamboa supporters talking trash to him when their guy didn't even bother to show up nor give a heads up. You would be pissed too amigo.

Top Rank / Arena are holding back the fight contract probably due to a) a figure Gamboa would find atrocious for a fight 2 divisions higher than his (not much on his plate after Arum, Öner take their cut) b) they're trying to force promotional extension on him which he doesn't like since they did ****all to build him up*.

*Hint: in order to draw, fighters need to be built up, something like the Canadians did with the Romanian dude who's now selling out arenas in one day. But Arum never cared to build Gamboa up, first he wanted him to be the name on JuanMa's resume (didn't work out too well, did it?) and now on Rios'. But in order to cash out on him he should do just that: show the cash.

Hope Gamboa fights Rios, and shuts him and a lot of others up. More excited about Gamboa as a prospect than Rios.

How is Gamboa unprofessional if no fight contract was signed?

Gamboa fans are sad with their pathetic damage control. How is someone not being unprofessional when they let down their fans and disrespect the other fighter by not showing up to the press conference. Gamboa needed to handle this behind the scenes, not waste the press', Rios, and fans time.
