Hes got the potential to beat Klitschko but only time will tell, Id like to see him in against Alexander Ustinov then beat up on Chris Arreola / Kevin Johnson before going after the K bros.

I'd take Mitchell to KO Huck in a slugfest war, given his natural size, strength & power advantages.

Besides, Huck whupped Povetkin, so there'd be no shame losing to him.

I believe I understood your point, and I still disagree.

First, I have heard it from very reliable sources that Mitchell, although a heavy hitter, doesn't hit as hard as a lot of people think he does. For example, he allegedly doesn't hit harder than old Oliver McCall. Mitchell is a more dangerous puncher than Ollie, of course, because Seth is that much faster and more likely to connect (and connect in combo), but Ollie has more concussive force in any single shot.

So, my first point is that Vlad isn't exactly facing a new Joe Louis or Earnie Shavers when it comes to Mitchell's punching power. I doubt that Mitchell's power is any more dangerous than that of Peter I & II, or as dangerous as that of Brewster I & II.

Also, I have heard from very reliable sources that Haye can hit like hell...the guy is really a dangerous puncher, in terms of snapping, concussive force in either hand. People close to John Ruiz told me they were amazed by the sheer, snapping power in Haye's right.

I'll bet that Haye hits harder than Mitchell. Mitchell may be the physically stronger guy, with more clubbing force, but Haye has better snap and one punch KO power. Haye can take Vlad deep and set traps. Maybe Haye can't beat Vlad, but he'll always stand a much better chance than Mitchell will.

Finally, I just don't think Mitchell will ever develop the skill and open ring competency necessary to pose any kind of threat to Vlad in the open. Never. Add to this that Mitchell is ridiculously easy to hit with the right hand (how many times did light-hitting Ibragimov snap Mitchell's head back with rights? I counted three.). I cannot imagine Mitchell remaining conscious in the ring with Vlad for long. Not at all.

The only possible way that Mitchell's punching power will be a factor against Vlad is if...Mitchell turns out to have the same durability as Brewster and/or Purrity. Mitchell will need that kind of chin to absorb Vlad's power. Based on how I've see Mitchell's head snapped around like volleyball, I cannot believe he has the chin of a Brewster or a Purrity.

Dunno man. My own eyes and gut tell me that - even accounting for there being a difference between types of power; ie raw beef and explosive snap - the Hayemaker just doesn't have half the oomph of the Atomic Bull...whereas Mayhem, like you said, is probably comparable.

"Olly-like" ain't a bad ceiling at all to have your power rated at. That's one heavy handed dude.

The key to us not finding common ground here is I think just a fundamental difference in how we view Haye. You obviously have some faith in his ability at HW, whereas I've always viewed him - and still do - as a complete smoke and mirrors fraud at the weight.

It's more about that than it is about Mitchell (on whom we're probably more or less in agreement).

I think we disagree about Mitchell. I still think he's very vulnerable, and always will be. The only way my thinking will change is if it turns out that Mitchell has the durability of a Brewster or Purrity.

I think Mitchell will get exposed big time before long. I actually believe Adamek will slap him silly en route to a one sided points win.
