    Question for Chauncy:

How is it that you are both Native American, and New Zealander?

What Native American tribe are you descended from?

How are you connected to New Zealand, as a citizen?

I am Sioux and Gros Ventre Native American. I moved to New Zealand years ago. I am a citizen of the country now. Spent years there. I am now back in the States so I can train with Joe Hipp but as soon as my boxing is done with I will be right back in New Zealand.

If this is not getting too personal, why did you move to New Zealand? Were you just a kid, and did your parents take you there? Or maybe you married a New Zealander during adulthood?

Do you get dual U.S.-NZ citizenship?

    Another Chauncy question:

Since you are from Washington state, what's your theory on D.B. Cooper? Did he surive or die during his jump?

I was 21 when I moved there. Always heard good things about it. Then when I was in Vegas sparring David Tua I chatted with Shane Cameron and another team mate they had and they convinced me NZ was the place to be. But I let it stew a couple years and I didn't go. Then I hit a point in my life where I wanted to just pick up and go. Wasn't getting any younger and wanted to get my traveling out of the way. The rest is history as they say.
    I am a USA/NZ citizen.

haha. A man ahead of his time. I haven't followed his story in detail, but if I had to guess he got away. He must have because all these years later and people going to look for him all the time, somebody would have found something.

How was it fighting Solis? Is he any good in your opinion? Power/technique/speed?

It would be interesting to hear the opinion of a pro fighter.:good

HAHA. Grunge is not my fav music but one of my favorite movies is a movie filmed in Spokane, actually at the same high school I went to. It's a movie called "Vision Quest" and Madonna actually sings in it. I get you were being sarcastic but just wanted to be proud for my town since we had a movie filmed there.

I expected pure hell going in and was suprised at how much he had in reality. His speed was not what everybody told me it was. his power was ok, but not great, surely enough to keep you honest and hurt it he caught you right.
One thing he did very well was place his shots very well. He was also very aggressive. His aggression was hard to hold off. People told me going in he'd get tired easy. I was suprised to see him still fresh in the later rounds.

Chauncy, you vs Povetkin. Thats a fight I wanna see.

You both throw a lot of punches. That could be a good fight.

Beat Mitchell. Then you could be ranked to fight Povetkin. Or vs Marco Huck would be a good style wise fight.

I am sorry to interupt this great thread guys but we are under solar attack.

Take Cover Chauncy! I know you can take a punch but this is not anything you want to get hit with.

    Team Welliver Warning!
