Not as bad as you think..Benitez would ko Spinks like he did Hope. El Radar would have absolutely nothing to fear from Cory.

Agreed!! Byrd vs Young would be horrible to have to watch. Both great technicians however this would be one for only the boxing purists to savor and enjoy.

One not mentioned, but was heavily rumored during those Ali sweepstakes in the late 70's was Ali/Mike Schutte. That guy was just so crude in there. But that determination and Ali's bad hands at that point in time may have seen the bout go the distance and it would have been dreary and lopsided every minute.

I don't know if I've ever seen a heavy more crude than Schutte. But tough and sort of like a Wepner in a way--effective at 1 style only but tough as nails and very determined to fight his fight. Man, lots of fighters through the years certainly could have benefited from the determination of Schutte/Wepner. Not a lot of tools in the closet, but what competitors that made the absolute most out of what they had.

It would have been a loing, dreary Holmes-Cobb type of affair, though without the severe punishment that Holmes dished out. It would be the 15 round equivalent of Ali beating a tire with a broom stick.
