yeah wlad hits hard... but what would you rather take, be honest 2 body shots from pacquiao? or a right hand to the head by wlad?
Are you ****ing kidding? I'll take 200 body shots from Pac before Wlad gets anywhere near me with so much as a jab.
Well im canny solid @230lbs so i will HAPPILY take a FULL ROUND of bodyshots from Pacroid, rather than ONE RAMROD JAB from Wladdy. :deal
Or, avoid WK until the demand for their fight is so high that both cannot resist the millions they get for fighting. At that point, it won't matter if Mitchell loses, because he and his team will have made such a great profit. So yes, no Vladimir for Mitchell until the end. In the meantime, expect Erik Gomez and Al Haymon to line up the slow moving fatties like Povetkin and Chagaev for Mitchell. Mitchell could unload his bombs on them. I expect the same thing in Mitchell's next fight...against Chazz. Chazz is a Philadelphia fighter without a Philadelphia punch. Bad thing. Philadelphia style minus the requisite power means another easy KO for Mitchell.
:good:good Mitchell is 29 years old, 30 in May. I say Super Seth waits until he is 33 And Wladdy Klit is 38 years old. :hat In the mean time, Mitchell should fight guys from this bunch - Povetkin, Tyson Fury, Robby Helenius, Tacobell Arreola, Captain Huck, Dim Dimitrenko, Pulev, Mikey Perez, Tony Thompson And my man Dereck Gsora. NON of those guys beat Seth Mitchell. :deal But they would give him VALUABLE EXPERIENCE And some tough nights. :!:
But they have to keep Mitchell clean -- and I mean really clean -- if he's going to maintain his aura of invincibility. If Mitchell loses his aura, by losing a fight, or by looking like **** and struggling to a decision, that could kill his marketability. That would, in turn, kill the millions he could make in an eventual showdown with Vladdy Daddy. I think they'll be careful in picking Mitchell's opponents. That means no Chisora, no Pulev, no Helenius, or anything like that. Thompson are Mitchell are already sparring partners -- they train together. I doubt they would fight unless it was mutual understood that Tony is getting too old to resist. I don't think Thompson has reached that point yet. A huge, non-title "superfight" between heavyweight contenders would be Mitchell against Tyson Fury. I think that's a safe fight for Mitchell...and it would make a hell of a lot of money for both of them. A KO win here (and Mitchell would get it) would really build up the hype for Vladdy vs Mitchell. Mitchell reminds me of Gerry Cooney, in terms of the hype, popularity, and marketing.
Yep. The first thing I thought of when I watched him for the first time was that he needs to shore up that defence big time. He's too open to the jab and right hand at the moment. Doom if you fight a Klitschko with those shortcomings. That can be corrected though, so we'll see. I'm not convinced about his power so far, and that could be a problem.
I'd love to see Bradley beat Pacquiao... then Pac retires & Freddie Roach goes on to train Seth Mitchell!
Smart money? Is that what you're calling yourself now, you Suomi ***** with a record track of failed predictions on Klitschko fight outcomes?
It bothers me that you're getting behind Mitchell with your track record. But then again, you'd pick Chris Byrd to KTFO Wlad in a rematch TODAY.
I didnt give Byrd a change against Wlad. Seriously Mitchell is too raw for Wlad right now, but he could be the man who dethrones him in few years. He has amazing power
