I have to admit the Ortiz fight was pretty exciting before the all the headbutt took place. Floyd was standing his ground and fighting in the pocket for the most part. Same as he did in the Mosley fight.
You need to get hit ALOT and have a sucky defense to be FOTY. Mayweather really suck in those 2 categories.
Even in fights where there is alot of great action, ala Chavez, Augustus, Corley ect in the end one guys landing clean punches and the other guy is mostly hitting arms. And by the end Floyd always takes it to another level that the other guy cant reach so it ends up being onesided, even though Corley was a good action bought, Corley lost every round and got knocked down 3 times in the process. Fight of the YEars are tit for tat affairs.
I find the ***** responses quite funny. I really enjoy watching Mayweather fight and have seen every one of his pro fights. My favourites are Ndou, Gatti, Mosley, Chop Chop and Judah. I just find it interesting that someone who hasn't been in wars has managed to become popular with the general public
No. People making it sound like it is a good thing need to remember this is an entertainment sport as well. That is why guys like Morales are thought of as gods. They could have won fights easily but instead they chose to entertain the fans as well.
