It was Gamboa who called him out, you ****ing idiot. Brandon wanted to move up after the Murray fight, but Gamboa called him out and they offered him the fight. The only ***** here is Gamboa for not showing up.

Gamboa screwed up the most here, but TR I'm sure isn't doing their job either. Anyhow, why would I want to see a smaller boxer versus a bigger boxer if it doesn't mean anything for the division or p4p supremacy. Gamboa is definitely gonna go back down and Rios is definitely gonna go back up.

 

Rios had said he didn't want to fight at 135 anymore and was moving up to 140. But he was called out by Gamboa's team and made a nice offer at 135. If he can make 135 at win props to him for beating a top notch fighter while being drained.

You know Rios was not going to back out of an offer against Gamboa at 135. Team Gamboa knows that, so they have a better chance at a drained Rios.

It was Gamboa's team that challenged Rios at 135. Rios said he could no longer cut weight to make a healthy 135 and was moving up. Did you not see how Rios stuggled to make weight for the Murray fight?

No you probabley didn't, just like to talk crap. Rios was completely emaciated at the weigh-in and couldn't make the weight after several attempts and was stripped of his title.He looked weak during the fight but was able to dig deep and beat Murray.

How you not going to give him points when he is fighting a dangerous fighter at a weight were he will be drained at, when he was the one being challenged?

 

He's definitely taking a page out of floyd's handbook on how to kill a fight. Won't fight unless a deal is right? Sounds too familiar. Gamboa must have realized he's biting more than he can chew with rios. To save face, and probably as been advised by someone (who shalll not be named) who's sort of an expert on the art of ducking, he's blaming his paycheck. Why has it taken him quite sometime to say this? Couldn't he have said he was unhappy with the pay at the start, before the promoters began rolling money to hype and set this fight up?

What's funny here is he's the one who called out rios. Now that the fight is near, he's finding ways to avoid him. I'm sure rios and top rank don't find this amusing one bit.
