Michael Moorer vs. Corrie Sanders

If were talking prime for prime I'll take Sanders. Moorer went life and death with
Holyfield while he was pretty much having a heart attack in the ring and then got KTFO by Foreman

 

Moorer is by far the better boxer, people forget how good he was at 175lbs

Moorer would get cracked early by that Sanders laser beam left. But then again Moorers jab was pretty effective and set up his power shots. **** this fight is a toss up for me, but I can see it being a classic shoot out with multiple knock downs.

Slight edge to Sanders by mid round tko.

 

Anything could happen in this one, but I'd bet on Moorer getting through some trouble early and putting it on a tired Sanders later in the fight with his greater skill-set.

 

Moorer couldn't take real HW power, Sanders would likely crack him out early a la David Tua.

 

Agreed. Would be a very fun fight for as long as it lasted.

 

I would favor Moorer due to him being the far superior Boxer, but both have Glass Jaws, so there is nothing certain about this. What is certain is that I would definitely pay for a fight like this.

 

what's even more interesting is to look at Sanders' career minus his Klitschko victory and Moorer's career minus his Holyfield victory.

technically i think moorer is much better....and has a much better southpaw jab....but moorer is a bit of a slow starter and corrie sanders isnt.........MY PICK CORRIE SANDERS IN A SLUGFEST VIA 2 OR 3 RDS.......
