Roy of the Ruiz fight in 2003.

Jeffries from 100 years earlier in 1903, vs Corbett II.

20 foot ring. Louis-era gloves, handwraps and ref. 15 rounds.

    How does this play out?

    Roy would outbox him.
But Jeffries might score a KO in the later rounds.

Jones could not live with the marvellous defensive skills of Jeffries, whose radar- like antennae, and uncannilly, evasive head movement ensure Jones cannot land a glove on him.
Jeffries conducts a master class of pugilistic untouchability to win every round.

In the uncalled for rematch, Jeffries is handicapped by fighting with a bull moose over his shoulders , but still manages a draw.
