well as a fan i agree with you that he should fight in cruise,and we would probably have a champion,and some exiting fights instead mcbride. but it was his choice.

not at HW. It is average at best at HW

 

The weight could help him if he uses it right. If he's able to keep his speed and stamina, while increasing strenght I don't think he would be less effective at HW, if anything it could help him handle the size of todays HWs and be in a better position to land his shots.
