Like all the great ones, born.

Obviously he worked hard on technique etc but 99% of fighters could punch with that same technique, or even better, and the effects wouldn't be comparable.

The best punchers are born with the power and work hard to take advantage of it.

It ****ing does when your comparing a hw to lmw you tool.

If you wanna talk about Wlad so much start a thread about him.

For me you asked a silly immature question about Wlad in a Julian Jackson thread, but you got respectful answers.

Don't spit your dummy out because we didn't all scream 'Wlad hits harder'. P4P he doesn't!

Jackson was an all time favorite of mine the guy had true one-shot KO power that is seldom seen in boxing.

You can teach technique, but you can't teach that kind of power.

******s. Fundamental motor patterns that are taught and Genetics determining muscle make up for 10%; the other 90% is due to technique, perfect body mechanics/transfer of energy.
How to spot a dumb ass? They believe in religion or they believe that someone is born with a skill.

No. If it was that simple then all Brendan Ingle fighters would hit as hard as Naseem Hamed. Hamed did not even throw some of his shots with good technique but they laid people out.

People ARE born with skill sets. Not something as specific as being "a great baseball player" but having great hand eye coordination, excellent spatial awareness, high concentrations of fast twitch muscle fibres etc.

You only need look at Usain Bolt to see a guy who broke the world record in the 100m with a fairly poor start, very average transitional stage and solid but not amazing technique. He is just a naturally fast guy with long limbs and the ability to move them quickly and due to the fast twitch makeup of his muscles he is insanely quick.

You can train anyone to hold a note, but you cannot train anyone to have a 5 octave vocal range.
